Industry challenges → how MadOn solves it

  • 1

Challenge: Fabric and yarn needs are worked out on spreadsheets for every order.

How MadOn solves it: Work orders carry their own BOM and accessories demand, and the finished fabric requirement (FFR) and knitting plan are built from them.

  • 2

Challenge: Yarn and fabric sit with knitters, dyers and process houses, and balances are hard to reconcile.

How MadOn solves it: Knitting, dyeing and process-house contracts record every issuance and receipt, with party reconciliation reports for each.

  • 3

Challenge: Pieces go missing between cutting, stitching, washing and packing.

How MadOn solves it: Cut-to-pack tracks issuance and receiving at each stage with size-wise balances, sample pieces and production loss.

  • 4

Challenge: The real cost of an order is known only after it ships, if at all.

How MadOn solves it: Every stage posts its WIP cost to GL, and the work-order costing report shows the actual cost per order.

  • 5

Challenge: Quality faults are found late and recorded inconsistently.

How MadOn solves it: A shared fault library, point rules and grade schemes drive QC at knitting, dyeing & finishing, cutting, stitching and finishing.

  • 6

Challenge: Piece-rate wages for stitching are calculated by hand.

How MadOn solves it: Operation heads, stitching operations and work-order rate lists feed stitching contract payments and wages reports.
